All feature this week, as we have a little delve around relationships with our friends, families and God. Relationships can be tricky, as many of us have found out during lockdown. Spending extended time with one group of people, no matter how much you love them, can be difficult.
We're going to see what it's like to have a bit of rivalry within families - as often this is a thing, isn't it? So you're going to need a tea bag and a cup. The idea is to see who can get the most tea bags into the cup in 30 seconds. Here's Mark and Matthew having a go. You might want to have a practice too...
We'll be discussing how our relationships with each other, our friends and God have changed over lockdown? What's been the most postive/ negative aspects? And since our PolEv was so popular last week, let's have a go at defining friendship - what's the most important values in a friendship.
The story comes from the OT this week - Best buddies David and Jonathan stick together to save a life, but get separated in the process. There are real goodies and baddies in this one so we want to know what you think of each of the characters. If you want to get ahead today - find the story in 1Samuel ch 20.

I'm very excited to share an oldie but a goodie song with you - something that I grew up listening to (don't worry, it's not Abba or Sting!). Michael W Smith is an American singer song writer, who is very big in Christian circles in the States. He wrote a song called "Friends" and we'll be listening to that track as we think about our friendships, when things go a bit wrong, and how we can make them better. Hopefully we'll remind each other, that even when we do mess up, Jesus says that he is our friend forever, and is the perfect example of someone who will stick by us, no matter what happens.
"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6-7
